Canine Miracles

Welcome

We are trying to translate all the website, some sections are still in spanish, please be patient with us.

Canine Miracles (Milagros Caninos as in Spanish), is the first Sanctuary for dogs in extreme situations like: cancer, lame, blind, deaf, completely burned, terribly tortured, paralytic, raped, drugged, etc. Here, we give them the opportunity of having a worthy life inside a place where they can live with food, open spaces to run and play, but mainly, full of love, something that perhaps they never had before. You can easily donate via Paypal by clicking the button below.

History

On April 2004, “Clavo” (Nail as in English) my dachshund died. I always knew the meaning of his life: to play with my children, give us company and bring joy to our lives; but I did not understand the meaning of his death. So, I started, before I knew, rescuing dogs, first one, and then another one and so forth. My eyes were always focused on a dog in pain.

My soft heart towards old, ill or cruelly mistreated dogs caught my attention and moved me to create a home for dogs with different capacities and in that way I could be able to help little unfortunate dogs. With all this…suddenly my dream came true.

“Clavo’s” death was something very difficult to accept. I still miss him, but I perfectly know that the meaning of his death is now called Canine Miracles. I am pretty sure that he, no matter where he is, is responsible for what my eyes see because I see what others can’t; he makes my ears listen whines of pain perhaps imperceptible for the rest of people; it also makes my hands feel others’ misfortune.

I can also bet that he causes other people to be more sensible and be able to see dogs as friends and not as perfect means of getting their frustrations out by striking, burning or letting them die of hunger.

Canine Miracles

Is the first Sanctuary for dogs in extreme situations like: cancer, lame, blind, deaf, completely burned, terribly tortured, paralytic, raped, drugged, etc. Here, we give them the opportunity of having a worthy life inside a place where they can live with food, open spaces to run and play, but mainly, full of love, something that perhaps they never had before.

What we receive in return, in some cases, is a lick or a tail that swings with happiness and in other cases, an eternal grateful look.

In Canine Miracles only some dogs are adopted, that is, no one with cancer, elderly or any other disease that requires expensive or difficult treatment. Only healthy dogs can be adopted, prior to an investigation related to the adopter. We will make sure that no dog will never ever suffer again. We will not allow or expose them to any danger.

Something extremely important: in Canine Miracles there is not a single cage. No dog is tied or locked up. All dogs live freely. This is not a prison. They suffered enough when they were on the street or at their own houses with its “owners”.

How to help

Unfortunately we live in a country where a culture of animal-care does not exist. It is believed that animals can be subject of mistreatment, beating, confinement and even death.

Thousands of dogs suffer terribly when they have born and grown on the streets without food or water. They look for a way to survive, but this is not enough because there will always be a leg that kicks them, a stick that beats them, a car that runs over them or someone who burns them.

By this means you can have a dog and Canine Miracles will take care of him.Sponsor a dog

Only some dogs can be physically adopted. I will never give in adoption an elderly dog, with cancer, or that suffers from any difficult or expensive disease.

If you are interested in physically adopting a dog, that is, to take him to live with you, we should evaluate the dog’s condition as well as the adopter’s.

I will never ever allow that any of the Canine Miracles dogs suffer again.

Thanks a lot!!!
